The water demineralizing Plants eliminate all the salts contained in it. Water obtained by this process, meets the needs of hospitals, chemical processing, power plants etc. They are essentially constituted by a heat exchanger containing the cationic resins and a heat exchanger containing the anionic resins. The heat exchangers can be made in:

- fiberglass
- Ebonized steel
- Acid-resistant steel.

Also they can be automated by:

- Plurivie valve
- Individual valve for easier operation and maintenance.

The price difference between these types of construction, reflects the best quality, reliability and durability.
fdt Ltd. builds, at its plant in Brugherio, all three versions, to meet all customer needs

The water for the feeding of the thermal and thermoelectric power plants must be degassed, thus devoid of gas dissolved in it such as: oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.

The most practical way to achieve this result is to heat that is based on the principle of water boiling at the operating temperature.
For the gas separation it is necessary that the water reaches the maximum free surface of expansion before and during the heating by rain or spray system.
The physical-thermal getter ns. production to optimize the increase of the water surface provides both the spray system and, in cascade, sprinklers plates system , with variable water velocity from 15 to 25 m3 / m2 a.c.
The degassed water with this system assumes a value of gas dissolved residue limit of 0.02 ppm c.

fdt srl produces two types of standard getters:

- "With turret" type dishes with sprinklers plates system
- "Spry" type with automatic spray nozzles.

The execution is scheduled with PED or similar testing for pressures greater than 1.5 ATA and atmospheric pressures below 1.5 ATA

The iron separator / manganese - removing filter has the function to remove iron and manganese dissolved in the water in the form of salts.
It consists of a cylindrical tank containing the filter material Dital-M (pyrolusite).
The water to be treated is oxygen-saturated charge ejector which sucks filtered air from the atmosphere and subsequently passes through the filter bed Dital-M and undergoes the oxidation of iron and manganese, which precipitate to the filter bed which has the catalytic properties in concerns oxidative action.
After treating a given volume of water (cyclic flow), or when the oxidative capacity of Dital-M is exhausted, the bed must be regenerated; after which the filter is ready to start a new cycle.

Features of the system series:• Quality steel construction welded to the upper and lower bottoms, completed Supports.
• Internal protection provided by layer epossidoico antacid or galvanizing bath.
• External protection with two coats of red lead and painting.
• Distributors higher water.
• lower Distributors impediment output filter material.
• Control battery regeneration and full exercise of external and internal pipes in PVC or galvanized steel.

Optional:

• duplex systems.
• supporting metal skid.
• Operation Automatic or semi-automatic.
• Starting up the gear.
• sterility dosing station.

The process consists in driving equi-current the orange juice through a filtering bed which consists of absorbent resin. The latter has little spheres.
The physical- chemical structure of these resins allows the selective fixing og bog organic molecules (for example limonin) which cause colour and taste of peel extract.
The absorption happens because of the resins porosity without chemical reaction and the chemical characteristics of the orange juice aren’t changed.

The chlorine dioxide is an interesting alternative to chlorine due to the different composition. Chlorine dioxide produces no organic chlorine compounds in contact with the most frequently contaminants present in the water.

The compounds resulting from the reaction between chlorine dioxide and organic compounds in the water are therefore more negligible in terms of quantity, perceptive and toxic. This makes chlorine dioxide agent ideal disinfectant for drinking water treatment.

Chlorine dioxide as a chemical agent has several advantages:

• Insensitivity to the value of PH of treated water;
• No reaction with nitrogen compounds to form chloramines;
• 2.5 times more oxidizing power than chlorine;
• bactericidal action at low doses;
• Lack of training alometanici compounds;
• purely oxidant disinfectant action and not chlorinating.

The large capacity of the disinfectant chlorine dioxide is not even linked to factors depending on the contact time or concentration values, (practical aspects that have always limited the use of chlorine derivatives as disinfectants products), because its oxidizing action, also in low dosages, begins immediately upon contact and in a non-selective both on the microbial load present on both the organic material dissolved or suspended in water, resulting in all the available disinfection without undergoing influences of pH values. The chlorine dioxide, in fact, acts with the same force oxidant in acidic or basic, unlike, for example, of sodium hypochlorite, the activity of which is very much influenced by the environment in which it operates, reducing up to 50% around in basically basic waters.
